One of the main ingredients of typical Extremadura cooking are meats and vegetables both cooked with the experience of an old tradition of flavours.

You can't leave Extremadura without trying the delicious “migas”, which are cooked with bread, oil, bacon, paprika, chorizo and green pepper. It's a typical shepherd dish which is usually served in an earthenware bowl and which can of make your breakfast or lunch your most unforgettable experience.

This is a land with good tasty beef, veal, pork and lamb meats all from animals living wild and having nature for their only shepherd.

Extremadura Veal Entrecote

Although Extremadura is far from the sea there are more kilometres of river banks than in any other region in Spain so we never lack fish in our diet and on the other hand Trujillo have excellent shops where fresh fish is sold due to its convenient road connections.
