Casa Rural Las Canteras
It has just been declared Nacional Park . It has over 18,000 hectares of nature, Mediterranean forest and bush, cork oak and oak forests. It offers a great flora and fauna diversity which maintain the natural balance. More than the 80 % of the protected species in Spain can be found in Monfrague.
It is a strategic site for bird watching. Here you can sight the emblematic black vulture, the golden eagle and the black stork. This is a highly recommended excursion.
